Winona Elementary School Building Strong Families Night

The Mississippi Farm Bureau Federation State Women’s Leadership Program sponsors essay contests each year to educate students about the importance of agriculture in grades seventh through ninth. Students are encouraged to answer the question, “Why is Agriculture Important?”. We proudly announce four eighth grade students from Winona Secondary who placed in this contest. The winners are Saxon Durham first place, Oakley Chumney second place, Ivan Jamerson third place and Harlie Melton fourth place. Congratulations to our eighth grade students for the honor of being recognized in the Agriculture Essay Contest hosted by Mississippi Farm Bureau Federation State Women’s Leadership Program.
