Celebrating our Assistant Principals!

The Winona-Montgomery Consolidated School District board members value the input of all stakeholders in the search for the new superintendent. Stakeholder surveys and meetings are offered as part of the Mississippi School Boards Association (MSBA) Search Service.
Stakeholders include teachers, administrators, support staff, parents, community
members, and business members. Your feedback will be used by the board members as part of the interview process and as a foundation for making the decision as to who will be the next superintendent for Winona-Montgomery Consolidated School District.

Something to ROAR about!
Winona Secondary School presented two choir groups at state evaluations last week for the first time (SATB and SSA), and the students had a little over a month to push themselves to learn difficult music. Director Megan Brock said she was hoping for growth, not awards. However, choir members were able to achieve both! They received a superior rating in sight reading, and excellent ratings in performance with great feedback for next year!

Congratulations to WMCSD Board of Trustees member, Dr. Katherine Hughes, for being honored for her service as a nurse educator at the Robert E. Smith School of Nursing at Delta State University during Black History Month.
