On Wednesday, September 15, 2021, a student reported a potentially threatening message on a bathroom stall. School administrators documented the statement and had it removed. The information was carefully considered and discussed with the WMCSD Police Chief and Superintendent. The decision was made to put additional safety measures in place. School administrators and the SRO were positioned in highly visible places to monitor students, and teachers were reminded to lock their classroom doors. The school was not put in lockdown. Parents would have been notified if a lockdown was deemed necessary. The school day concluded without disruption.
