Outdoor and indoor K-12 organized extracurricular activities will now be subject to certain limitations. Attendance at these events shall now be limited to two attendees per student participating in the event, and masks shall be worn at any point where social distancing is not possible and is strongly encouraged at all times. Other safety requirements include prominent signage to be posted at all entry points mandating the wearing of masks and maintaining six feet of distance, extra safety precautions for concession stands, and a dedicated safety officer to ensure all limitations are enforced. This executive order became effective Monday, August 17, at 8:00 a.m.
Ticket Sales
WMCSD will presale all tickets for athletic games and events. Each student participating in the event will be permitted to purchase two tickets at the school office for two days prior to the day of the game. Any unsold tickets will be available on a first come first serve basis in the Operations Office the day of the game from 8:00am - 12:00pm. Tickets for WMCSD will be $10.00 for football and $5.00 for all other sports. State passes issued by MHSAA will be honored at the gate.
The Athletic Director (AD) will contact each visiting team to find out how many tickets they need for the game based on the requirements of the Executive Order. Tickets will be mailed to the AD of the visiting school, and they will sell their tickets themselves. The night of the game a representative of the opposing team will be required to bring the remaining tickets and a check for the tickets sold. A ticket sales verification sheet will be completed and signed by both a representative of schools.
In the event the Executive Order changes and attendance is based on a percentage of capacity of the stadium, each participant will be allowed to purchase four tickets for the game at the school office and the remaining tickets will be sold first come first serve basis. More information will be available as changes occur.
