FREE Breakfast and Lunch Program at WMCSD
Child Nutrition Supervisor, Mrs. Betty Forrest, is pleased to announce that the school district has qualified for the United States Department of Agriculture’s Community Eligibility Provision (CEP). This means the district will be able to provide free breakfast and lunch to all students for the 2020-2021 school year.
Everyone benefits from participation in CEP. Students have access to free nutritious meals and spend less time in cashier lines. Parents have no paperwork to fill out and no worries about breakfast or lunch accounts. School staff can spend more time on meal service operation and less time on paperwork and collecting unpaid meal charges.
WMCSD is proud to serve our community in a number of ways including the summer feeding program that operated through the month of June. We are currently working on child nutrition plans for the upcoming school year. We hope that families will take advantage of this outstanding program.
