Construction Updates: Hopefully, all student restrooms at Winona Elementary will be completed by the end of September. HVAC units which were supposed to be here by October 17th have been pushed back to November by the supplier. According to our contractor and architect, this is not unusual since the shutdowns due to COVID. We are excited to share that planning meetings have begun for the Winona Secondary construction project, and we are looking forward to getting started on much-needed improvements on the WSS and WCTC campuses.

Independent Living - Preparing for independent living is an exciting time in any youth's journey towards adulthood. For youth with disabilities and their families this is a time filled with questions and challenges. Join us as we explore a skills checklist to help parents and youth know where they are and what they need to work on in their journey to independent living. We will talk about the importance of self-advocacy, what families/parents can do to help youth and young adults with planning for the future. The training will be offered by the MS Parent Resource Center on September 22, 10:00am - 11:00am. CLICK HERE TO REGISTER.
