Second team honors were awarded to Robert McMath - wide receiver, Cohlton Triplett - center, Devontae Bays - offensive tackle, and Dadarion Small - free safety. In basketball news, the Tiger boys’ team is 9-0 on the season. What a great start for Coach Coleman and his team!
The WMCSD Board of Trustees voted to install air conditioning in Knox Gym. This is something that has been needed for a long time so the teams can practice comfortably in the summer months. The heating/air project at Winona Secondary and the roofing projects at both schools have been completed. We are anxiously awaiting the arrival of the new windows at Winona Secondary School as this will greatly enhance the look of the exterior of WSS.
